Vince Zampella, Has Died in a Los Angeles Car Crash
Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in the state of California aged 55.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.
The renowned industry figure died after his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in LA on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This represents an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, those closest to him, and the countless individuals inspired by his creative vision," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts stated.
