Following the box office performance of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, which brought in over $600 million at the box office, Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc has reached beyond the $100 million mark globally, attaining a global total of $108M this weekend. This feature outperformed Black Phone 2 (almost $13 million) in its sophomore frame in cinemas, as well as the film Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere starring actor Jeremy Allen White ($9M).

The studio and its partner Crunchyroll have successfully utilized audience interaction to propel their dominance at the anime box office. Future Prospects

This year marks a major time for anime, and for the company, which has another anime film premiering this year in the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution in the month of November.
