The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Soldiers Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a diverse cast of heroes, and a gripping narrative showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and sinister influences expanding in influence within the city.

Note: Revealing details for the latest installment of this adventure are included.

The Warrior Group Revealed

The latest chapter finished on a huge suspense moment and presented the first table of heroes who will separate from the main group to embark on their separate journey, separate from the remaining groups.

This warrior group includes Teor (brought to life by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Given a large ensemble, it was clear from the start that maintaining everyone at one table would be impossible.

Hence, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Introduction, connecting the individual narratives before dividing into three separate parties: Warriors, Planners, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Soldiers Table

Per the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for players who enjoy a typically action-packed battle-oriented story mode where diplomatic options are few and far between.

Initially, characters like the hesitant healer the cleric might seem out of place, but the actions of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the team knows exactly where to head next after a intense opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose passing initiated the story’s plot—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The antagonist then settled his debts and escaped to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each character has a specific drive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
  • Kattigan knows Timmony and advises that it is a hostile environment.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having resisted his house’s orders to kill Teor and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their status as key figures in House Halovar could help the party reach locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, Teor vowed a life debt to The cleric for his deliverance and will now go with him wherever.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are hunted by the powers that control Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and Wicander turned against House Halovar and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This results in them little choice but to travel to the remote area in pursuit of the traitor.

Future Episodes

According to the recent installment’s Cooldown, we find out that the combat party won’t be around the following episode, leaving the rest of the cast members to form the Seekers and Schemers tables.

Fans can anticipate discovering which adventurers will be in which group in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
